Happy 4th of July, my friends!
And here’s to our independence.
My independence is a gift. The fact that I can jet off to beautiful places across the globe and feel at home, the fact that I can live on my own 3,000 miles from home. I can work and support myself. I can choose who I want to marry and what I want to spend my life doing. I can do it all. And it’s wonderful.
Thank goodness for a country like mine that allows me such glorious freedom and opportunity.
I just wish more people would seize the day and put that independence to good use. Carpe diem.
Get out of the small town that you grew up in. See the world. Try something new. And treasure every moment knowing that you are among the blessed who can. Happy independence 🙂
